Flower of Water-2, not a sequel but a two-act play depicting a similar theme, was Yuko Hamada’s second theatrical production in 1997 in New York City. This play, the story develops in two different periods in Japan—one in Edo period and the other one in current time. The protagonist’s reincarnation tales in two different periods show a twisted karmic connection. Yuko Hamada wrote (the first act) and directed this theater performance. The script of the second act was by Yukihiro Saji.
